Advanced AI Recognition Technology 


Beneath its cute and child-like exterior, EDIE is equipped with advanced AI technology. 

EDIE comes to recognize its user's facial expressions, emotions, and gestures, and responds accordingly. 

It can also seek external aid if it senses the user is in danger.

Proven Emotional HRI

 

In collaboration with the Catholic University of Korea’s Cognitive Neuroscience team, 

we have used fMRI technology to provide objective evidence for the positive impacts that emotional interaction with EDIE can have for its users.
